
Emma Palmer
Em is a culture transformation EDI leader with a particular focus on intersectionality across the lines of multiple identities. She brings a bold and compassionate lens to her work, shaped by eight years as a frontline police officer in London, in her early. Em is known for her values-driven leadership style, creating cultures where fairness and equity are central. She has held Head of EDI roles in-house as well as being a consultant and designed sustainable EDI strategies, empowering people to lead inclusively, and champions the belief that EDI is everyone’s business. Em is an alumna of the 2021 She Leads Change Women’s Leadership Programme an Associate Consultant with Charlotte Sweeney Associates and Be the Riot and an Advisory Board Member for Ripple Suicide Prevention Charity. Her experience as a police officer in the 2011 London riots is featured in My Sh!t Therapist & Other Mental Health Stories by Michelle Thomas. Em is a certified Diversity-to-Belonging Facilitator.
